ispace Announces Tokyo Headquarters Relocation

16 Jan, 2026

TOKYO–January 16, 2026–ispace, inc. (ispace) (TOKYO: 9348), a global lunar exploration company, announced today that the Board of Directors has voted to consolidate its Tokyo locations and relocate its head office to a new location in the city’s central Nihonbashi section.

The new office address is: Nihonbashi Honcho M-SQUARE 6F, 1-9-3, Nihonbashi Honcho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo Japan 103-0023. ispace will move its offices effective March 9, 2026.

ispace established its Mission Control Center in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, in December 2020, followed by relocating its headquarters to Nihonbashi, Hamacho, in February 2021. For the next five years during HAKUTO-R Missions 1 and 2, ispace conducted its mission operations from this location, while its corporate and front office staff operated from the separate office building in Hamacho. During this period, ispace has grown to approximately 190 members, or about 1.7 times the original size and in April 2023, became a listed company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Currently, multiple lunar landing missions are now being developed globally in parallel, including Mission 3 scheduled for launch in 2027, as well as Mission 4 and Mission 6. As a result, the scale of operations has significantly expanded.

This relocation will consolidate previously dispersed functions and expand office space. The new corporate office has facilities including a mission control center, a space specifically for payload customers, meeting rooms, a media studio, and research and design area. The new corporate office will continue to support ispace’s hybrid work model that keeps staff production and retention high. It is expected to increase cross-collaboration and streamline operations.
