Program includes Original ispace RESILIENCE Lander T-Shirt & TENACIOUS Micro Rover Papercraft Model
TOKYO–February 28, 2025–ispace, inc. (ispace) (TOKYO: 9348), a global lunar exploration company, announced today that it is offering a new shareholder benefit in support of its SMBC x HAKUTO-R Venture Moon Mission 2, which launched from the Kennedy Space Center on Jan. 15, 2025.

The new benefit is intended to recognize investors for their contributions to the company’s successes during the ongoing operation of Mission 2 and provide an opportunity for them to feel closely connected to the mission and future efforts of ispace.

We encourage our shareholders to continue to follow our mission as we continue to make meticulous preparations for the landing attempt.”
Overview of the Shareholder Benefit Program
Eligibility: The benefit has two tiers. Shareholders who own at least 500 shares of the company’s stock are eligible for the benefit. The second tier requires 1,000 share or more of the stock. Both tiers require ownership to be recorded in the company’s shareholder register by the end of March 2025.

**Shareholders who hold 1,000 or more shares will receive both ① and ②, while shareholders who hold 500 but less than 1,000 shares will receive ①.
● Paper craft model of the TENACIOUS rover
The TENACIOUS micro rover is a compact lunar rover developed by ispace EUROPE S.A., the European subsidiary of ispace. During Mission 2, once the RESILIENCE lunar lander touches down on the Moon, TENACIOUS will deploy to the Moon’s surface where it will explore the surrounding area, including autonomous lunar surface driving, taking photos with its onboard camera, deploying the Moon House payload, and collecting lunar regolith, the first step towards the creation of the cislunar economy. The paper craft model is very detailed and evokes images of the micro rover taking its first drive on the lunar surface.

● Original ispace T-shirt
The original ispace T-shirt supporting Mission 2 features the iconic ispace logo on the front and a wireframe image of the RESILIENCE lander on the back. The T-shirt can be worn with pride displaying Japan’s foremost space company, developing the cislunar economy. It will only be provided to shareholders as a part of the benefit program and cannot be obtained elsewhere.
Note: The special benefits are scheduled to be delivered based on the shareholder register information as of the end of March 2025. Those wishing to receive the special benefit must meet the conditions for the number of shares held by the final day of the entitlement period. Currently, ispace is actively operating the SMBC x HAKUTO-R Venture Moon Mission 2, returning valuable data during its low-energy, highly efficient trajectory to the Moon. The RESILIENCE lunar lander successfully completed a flyby of the Moon on Feb. 15, 2025, reaching its closest point at 22:43 UTC, Feb. 14, 2025.
Future Missions
ispace is leveraging its global presence through its three business units in Japan, the U.S., and Luxembourg, for the simultaneous development of upcoming missions. Mission 2, featuring the RESILIENCE lunar lander and led by ispace Japan, launched on Jan. 15, 2025, completed a lunar flyby on Feb. 15, 2025, and is currently traveling to the Moon. During the mission, the TENACIOUS micro rover will be deployed on the lunar surface to conduct a technological demonstration of regolith extraction as well as mobility on the lunar surface. Mission 3, debuting the APEX 1.0 lunar lander, is led by ispace-U.S. and is expected to launch in 2026. The company’s fourth mission, which will utilize the Series 3 lander, currently being designed in Japan, is scheduled to be launched by 2027.
