ispace Announces Changes of Global Management Structure to Streamline Business Development

TOKYO – November 1, 2024 – ispace, inc. (ispace) (TOKYO: 9348), a global lunar exploration company, announced today that it has changed its global management structure in order to streamline business development and advance sales activity.

Effective November 1, 2024, the company’s business strategy will be supervised by Takeshi Hakamada, CEO & Founder. Takeshi Hakamada, Ronald J. Garan Jr., CEO of ispace-U.S., and Julien-Alexandre Lamamy, CEO of ispace-EUROPE, will be directly in charge of sales activities. In addition, Jumpei Nozaki, Director & CFO, will assume the role of the newly established Executive Business Director position to coordinate sales activities of the three global entities and further enhance organizational management.

“As governments around the globe, in particular in Japan, the United States, and Europe are increasing their focus on space exploration, we aim to strengthen the sales capabilities of our entire group by responding quickly to the diverse needs of each region and increasing the effectiveness of each subsidiary,” said Takeshi Hakamada, Founder & CEO of ispace.

In line with this announcement, ispace will abolish the Chief Revenue Officer position and Atsushi Saiki will transition to Executive Fellow with a focus of continuing to promote sales activities given his deep industry network and experience.
