ispace Announces Shareholder Benefit Program to Celebrate HAKUTO-R Mission 2

Program includes Exclusive Opportunities during Mission 2

TOKYO – August 23, 2024 – ispace, inc. (ispace) (TOKYO: 9348), a global lunar exploration company, announced today the implementation of a new shareholder benefit program to celebrate HAKUTO-R Mission 2 scheduled to be launched this winter.

The program is intended to recognize investors for their contributions to the company’s success in advance of a planned launch of the RESILIENCE lunar lander and operation of Mission 2 to achieve the ispace’s vision of the cislunar economy.

“This new benefit program is an opportunity for all of us at ispace to express our gratitude to our shareholders, who support us on a daily basis, and to increase excitement and anticipation in advance of the Mission 2 launch this winter,” said Takeshi Hakamada, Founder & CEO of ispace. “As we look forward to the launch, we will continue to advance our space business and contribute to the establishment of the cislunar economy.”

According to the rules of the benefit program, the shareholders will receive benefits based on a tiered system. Details of the benefits appear in the chart below.


Shareholders who own 1,000 shares or more will be provided with all ①, ②, and ③. Shareholders who own 500 shares or more will be provided with ① and ②.

Benefit Tier 1: 100 shares or more

Shareholders who own 100 shares or more will have the opportunity to apply for participation in Mission 2-related events, such as launch event and/or landing event. The details of the events will be announced to eligible shareholders via email after registration by QR code on a postcard sent to eligible investors. Postcards are expected to be sent between October 2024 and November 2024. Participants will be selected by raffle from among the respondents.

Benefit Tier 2: 500 shares or more

Shareholders who own 500 shares or more will receive a RESILIENCE lander commemorative LED light stand featuring the design of the lunar lander expected to be launched in Mission 2. The commemorative item, which has an intricately designed appearance of the RESILIENCE lander, can be color adjusted to give the stand different appearances.

Benefit Tier 3: 1,000 Shares or more

Shareholders who own 1,000 shares or more will receive a special commemorative photograph expected to be taken in space by cameras on the RESILIENCE lunar lander after deployment from the launch vehicle or TENACIOUS lunar micro rover on the lunar surface. Delivery of the photo is dependent upon circumstances of the mission, but if successful photographs will be mailed upon the completion of Mission 2.

In addition to the benefits program announced today, ispace expects to expand the program with details announced once the schedule is available. In the past, ispace has hosted exclusive events for shareholders, including an event in August 2024. During the event, shareholders and a family member, selected by raffle from participants in the general shareholders meeting, were invited to spend a special time to assemble the RESILIENCE lander papercraft with CEO Hakamada and CTO Ujiie.
